Shipyard and Mussini Boat Sales
From wood to the sea.
In 1980, Giorgio Mussini built the first Utility Portofino — a wooden launch that still represents the origin and identity of the yard today. It was born from a deep knowledge of the sea and from a level of craftsmanship that continues to live in the hands of our master boatbuilders.
For over forty years, the yard has been dedicated to the construction and sale of handcrafted boats, becoming a point of reference for owners seeking quality, identity and continuity over time.
Since then, the same vision has guided the development of new models, combining traditional wooden construction with fibreglass hulls crafted and finished with the same care and precision. Boats designed to be balanced, reliable and naturally responsive at the helm.
Each model is conceived as a handcrafted motor boat, built in our boatyard with bespoke workmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
Today, every Mussini boat is born in our shipyard in Rapallo, in the heart of the Tigullio Gulf near Portofino, and takes to the sea all over the world — always accompanied by a direct relationship with those who choose it.
Our boats:
born in Portofino, they find home all over the world
The shipyard:
craft tradition, contemporary vision.
Every Mussini boat is the result of an encounter between experience and design. From the Utility Portofino to the Paraggina range, each model embodies the same principle: harmonious proportions, precise handling and comfort designed to endure.
Carefully selected materials, refined workmanship and extensive configuration options make every boat a bespoke handcrafted creation — designed for those who wish to purchase a unique motor boat, built in an Italian boatyard in Rapallo, just minutes from Portofino.
Not mass production, but a process built around the boat and her owner.
The result is a true Operaviva — a boat that preserves its character, reliability and identity over time.
A shared journey, from the yard to the sea.
The birth of a Mussini boat begins with a meeting. Dialogue with the boatyard defines every aspect of the vessel — from configurations and functional elements to the smallest details that shape her character.
Each choice contributes to a carefully balanced whole, designed for the person who will live her.
The relationship does not end with delivery.
Purchasing a Mussini means entering into a direct relationship with the boatyard — one that continues over time through assistance, maintenance and refitting services, preserving value, safety and continuity.
